When you are tackling a major home addition, extensive commercial cleanout, or a large landscaping overhaul, the 30-yard dumpster provides the massive capacity you need to keep your job site clear.
Holding 30 cubic yards of waste (roughly 9-12 pickup truck loads), this dumpster is designed for substantial volume. With walls standing 68 inches tall, it easily contains large, bulky items like old cabinets, drywall, and commercial waste. It features a swinging back door for easy walk-in loading of heavy items.

Like the 20-yard bin, the 30-yard dumpster cannot be used for heavy materials like dirt, concrete, rock, or asphalt. Doing so will exceed the legal weight limit of our trucks. Please rent a 10-yard dumpster for heavy materials.

What you need to know before renting our 30-yard container.
The 30-yard dumpster is 20 feet long. You will need a space that is at least 22-24 feet long to accommodate the bin, plus additional space for the delivery truck to maneuver. The truck requires 12 feet of width and 15 feet of vertical clearance to safely drop the container. It is best suited for large driveways, commercial lots, or street parking (if permitted by your local regulations).
Yes. Like all our dumpsters, you cannot put hazardous materials, appliances, e-waste, tires, or chemicals in the 30-yard bin. Furthermore, because of its size, you cannot use it for heavy materials like dirt or concrete, and you must not mix different waste types (e.g., mixing green waste with construction debris). A $100 fee applies per unacceptable item found, and contaminated loads will incur additional charges.
The walls are 68 inches (over 5.5 feet) high. The best way to load a 30-yard dumpster is to open the swinging rear door and walk your heaviest or largest items directly into the back. Once the floor is covered, you can toss lighter bags or materials over the sides. Always ensure the weight is distributed evenly and do not fill above the top rim to allow for safe transport.
It can fit in larger residential driveways, provided the driveway is long enough (20+ feet) and wide enough. However, due to its size and weight when filled, we strongly recommend placing plywood down to protect your concrete or asphalt surface. Waste Worx is not liable for driveway damage. If your driveway is steep, please inform us beforehand.
If you are a contractor disposing of construction and demolition (C&D) debris, the load will likely go to the PVT Landfill. PVT requires a valid clearance form for disposal. If you do not have one, Waste Worx can assist, but a $100 PVT clearance fee (renewed every 6 months) will apply. This is mandatory for commercial C&D waste on Oahu.
Yes! Many commercial projects generate more than 30 yards of debris. If your bin fills up before your project is complete, call us at 808-376-9212. We can schedule a "swap" where we bring an empty 30-yard dumpster and haul away the full one. This is billed as a new rental cycle.
